Kohl Pencils DIY Organiser

Hola all!! This weekend I thought of organizing stuff laid messed up at my dressing table. I had to put all the kohl pencils at one place and so came up this DIY Project. :)

All you will need is an empty Talcum powder container, a printed piece of cloth, a pair of scissors and fabric glue.

Open up the lid of the container, and make its edge smooth by slightly burning off it edge. Start applying glue on the edges and firmly sticking the fabric over it.

If you want a lid to your container, wrap it up with the fabric too.

I had taken two containers, one with lid and the other without it.

The ones with lid could be used for storing cotton pads for quick kohl remover. I wanted both these thing to be in place together and easily accessible :D





And its DoNe!! TaDAaaaa !! :)

Butterfly on the Walls !

This has been the best DIY project for me :)

1. Draw different sizes of butterflies and prepare stencils.

2. Sketch these on the textured paper and cut them.

3. These are the finely cut Butterflies, all set to go on my wall! :)

4. And here they go!! :D

5. I surrounded the family collage frame with a few small butterflies to illuminate the sight of my wall !! <3

Re - Decorate Flower Vase

I had an old flower vase, which didn't really match my living room interiors after renovation.
So i thought of re-decorating it, and this i what i made...

This is how i made it...
1. Start applying thin lines of glue from the edge of the vase and sticking the jute yarn.
You can use a glass bottle also.

2. Keep going until you reach the top of the vase.

3. Once you are completed with the yarn part, let it dry for a while.

4. My yarn looked too dull, so I decided to paint it with bronze metallic color. It went well with my living room and gave the dull vase some glow :) (Tip : You can use colored yarn, if you don't want to avoid painting!)

5. To enhance the look, I used a few ornaments and mirrors....

And ..... TADAAAA !!

Stationary Organiser - Paper Basket

The most inexpensive way to have your stationery in place!

All I had to do was cut newspaper stripes into equal sizes, fold it so as to have three layered thick strip and knit it neatly into a basket !

They have used too many stapler pins, though i preferred using glue :)
