Hand Crafted Picture Frames

I was awed by this beautifully hand-crafted frames made by a friend, which really urged me to put up his hidden art here.

He is an engineer too,but loves to make some classy stuff for his special buddies :D

Presenting this "Framework" by Himank Shah who likes to be called "The HMK" ;)

The base of the frame has a  precise ensemble of wooden wedges bound with a rope for a sturdy stand that holds the picture frame. A set of five detachable frames can be fixed on the stand one at a time. *A very thoughtful concept. :)

The frames are made of hand-made papers, and these papers are selected keeping in mind the theme of the picture to be put in. A kiddie pic in the pink frame, an elegant one in the golden frame ans so on...

This blue one is one of my personal favorite considering the bright color and the efficiently painted white design.

I wonder how I have this like minded friend with love for DIY!
